In our lactation cookies oats, brewer’s yeast, and hemp seeds combine to promote breast milk production without any of the sugar or wheat flour present in your average cookie. These cookies are also packed with protein and healthy fats to satiate hunger and provide healthy nourishment. Enjoy like a cookie with your favorite dairy or nondairy milk or crumble over yogurt like granola for a delicious milk-boosting breakfast. Eat 1/day to maintain healthy and balanced milk supply and 2-3 to increase milk supply.
At a time when the immune system is particularly compromised by lack of sleep and the transfer of so many of mom’s nutrients to baby, supporting immune function and warding off infection is particularly important. Nettle, ginger, and echinacea combine to help the immune system ward off infection. Chamomile relaxes the mind and body, promoting restful sleep that is so critical to immune function, as well.
Skin-Soothing Bath Soak:
In this aromatic herb blend, calendula flowers soothe the skin, comfrey leaves support wound healing, lavender flowers and red rose petals relax the mind, rosemary eases pain, sage tones the skin, uva ursi supports urinary tract health, and yarrow flowers are anti-inflammatory and can help to stop bleeding.
Nipple and Body Butter:
Wonderful for mom, while also gentle enough for baby. Calendula is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial. Beeswax and shea butter heal dry, cracked skin and reduce stretch marks.
Six Tastes Seasoning:
In Ayurvedic tradition, it is important with each meal to experience each of “the six tastes”: pungent, astringent, salty, sweet, bitter, and sour. Not only will incorporating all of these flavors make the meal as satisfying as it can be, it will also ensure that the nourishment is optimally digested. Our seasoning is packed with iodine, iron, vitamin C, antioxidants, soluble and insoluble fiber, vitamin K, and vitamin B-12 among other nutrients critical for immune function, wound healing, thyroid function, and circulation.
